MAY 17 - JUNE 10: OPEN NOMINATIONS
During open nominations, you may nominate as many stories as you'd like that are eligible. There are FIVE nomination forms -- Length, Characterization, Author, Romance, and Genre -- which may be found here, and you would submit nominations by filling out the appropriate form. Again, you may nominate as many stories as you would like to be considered during this time, and you are allowed (and encouraged) to complete multiple nomination forms.
IMPORTANT: You MUST provide us with an ACTIVE URL for every story you nominate in order for it to be a valid nomination. Also, all stories offered for nomination MUST be complete, except for those in the WIP category.
JUNE 14 - JULY 8: FIRST ROUND VOTING
At this time, votes are cast for every story you believe deserves to win from among all nominated stories. Just as during open nominations, you are free to vote for as many stories as you'd like.
HOW TO VOTE: Similar to how you completed forms to submit nominations, you will also complete forms to have your votes counted. More information on this to come.
JULY 13-29: FINALIST VOTING
The stories in each category that receive the highest number of votes during first round voting will be elevated to finalist status. Approximately 5-7 stories in each category will become finalists, depending on the distribution of votes between all stories. At this time, you may cast a vote for ONLY ONE story among finalists in each category. Casting a vote will follow the same process as first round voting; more info to come. Multiple votes for different stories in one category will be disqualified.
ON/ABOUT AUGUST 2/3: WINNERS ANNOUNCED
There will be first, second, and third place winners announced for each category, as well as a honorable mention winner when the statistical difference between third and fourth place is minute.
